About Us

Our Motivation

Our first initiative was motivated by the murder of George Floyd — a moment that sparked national protests against and dialogue about structural racism, police brutality, white supremacy, and systemic oppression. Each month, we highlight an organization that is in the fight for social justice and working to dismantle these systems.

We can't do this without you!

Your support has enabled $20,083.15 in donations to the following organizations: Black Girls Code, the Marsha P. Johnson Foundation, GLSEN, Movement Generation, the Trevor Project, Black Voters Matter, the Indigenous Environmental Network, Social Justice Collaborative, A New Way of Life Reentry Project, The Movement for Black Lives, The Loveland Foundation, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, People's Programs Oakland, The Okra Project, Black Earth Farms, Teaching for Change, Black Veterans Project, Project LETS, Honor the Earth, Black Lives Matter 5280, Asian Girls Ignite, Black Love Resists in the Rust, Intersectional Environmentalist, and Drag Story Hour.

Testimonials from our supporters

Soaps for Change is an incredible organization, combining self care with social justice. The handmade soaps are little pieces of artwork, while also being beautifully fragrant and super moisturizing. The donations to social justice causes make supporting Soaps for Change a no-brainer. Can't recommend highly enough!

Caitlin, New Mexico

Soaps for Change is a unique and wonderful organization supporting highly relevant societal fund raisers. I have donated and ordered from them a few times and love the top quality soap bars. They always smell and feel amazing and I love that they use only natural ingredients in many of their soaps.

Bea, Soap Squad Naturals

I am OBSESSED!! All your soaps smell great but I want to permanently affix this one [Evergreen Rose Soap] to my nose :)
